Jacqui Turnbull is a 58-year-old living in Murieston, Livingston, Scotland. She has a lifelong passion for animals and has been providing professional dog home boarding and walking services since 1998, and trained as a professional dog groomer in 2011. Jacqui’s love of animals began when she was brought up in the country, on a farm in the Borders near Yetholm, Kelso, situated in the Cheviot Hills. Her father was a shepherd his entire life and bred and trained Collie dogs, becoming well known and respected in the Borders. Growing up with her father, Jacqui learned a lot about working with dogs and had many pets of her own.

Jacqui is now a fully trained and experienced dog groomer who has been boarding and walking dogs for over 25 years. Throughout her life, she has owned three dogs, the longest-living being a Lhasa Apso that reached 17 years of age. She also had a young Spaniel that sadly passed away at 8 years old due to cancer, and an older rescued Cocker Spaniel called Max who passed away in 2020 due to old age.
